Dear Colleagues,
We’re happy to announce that registration is now open for the 10th Summer School “Earth Systems: Land-Atmosphere-Ocean Interactions in a Changing Planet, A hands-on approach to Earth observation and modeling.” This year, the school will take place in Coimbra, the Portuguese city of knowledge, between July 19 and 24.
This summer school targets PhD students and other post-graduate students in all topics of Earth System Science, including Meteorology and Climate, Oceanography, Geology, Geodesy, Geophysics, Environment, Energy and Resources.
As usual, we will have a very diverse program, with experts in various topics who will give us their perspectives on our planet, its dynamics, issues of societal impact, and major open questions.
Also as usual, the program will include field trips, a boat trip, practical classes, presentations, and various social events. Students will be lodged in double rooms in a high-quality university residence, with access to a swimming pool, gym and a privileged view to the river Mondego.
