Dear all,
we would like to report that in the last 12 hours we have experienced problems with timeouts and denied connections to most of our services.
The reason is a flood of TCP-SYN- requests to our main server. Due to this, the IT Department of GFZ and the DFN took some measurements and restrictions to protect our systems.
Please, do not hesitate to contact us via mail to geofon_dc (at) gfz.de in case that you experience connection problems during this Friday 6th.
