On 2024-01-14T23:00:00Z ODC EIDAWS-Routing service will be updated to v1.2.2-b1. This might cause a short (~5 min.) disturbance for users relying on smart clients (i.a. ObsPy) to download waveforms from EIDA.

I currently get a 204 Error code for routing service requests, like in case of the example request “http://www.orfeus-eu.org/eidaws/routing/1/query?network=GE&service=dataselect”
Is someone aware of that?

Yes, FDSN is sending error messages via mail. This is probably not strictly related to the update.

It seems to be related to the network configuration managed by our infrastructure provider. I am going to get in touch with them and hopefully this can be quickly solved, perhaps even today.

Is there a way that you can redirect the traffic to the GEOFON Routing Service? Otherwise, there is no EIDA data.
Sure, I will try to point our reverse proxy to GEOFON until this is solved.

Ok, HTTP/S traffic is temporarily redirected to http://geofon.gfz-potsdam.de/eidaws/routing.

I would probably suggest to use User support for issue reporting. Maintenance is primarily meant to inform users about possible service interruption due to maintenance works.
