We are happy to announce the fourth short course (06-11.05.024) and subsequent workshop (11-16.05.2024) of the SPIN ITN, in a beautiful Alpine valley near Disentis, Switzerland.

Participation is open to all interested researchers, and pre-registration is open from now to March 20th. Note that only pre-registered participants will receive a payment link to register and attend.

Short Course “Soft skills for future employment” – 6th to 11th May, 2024
The short course is focused on soft skills and is centered around two topics: preparing and managing (large) projects, and presenting scientific content to a broad audience.

Workshop “New hazard monitoring strategies” – 11th to 16th May, 2024
The program of the fourth SPIN workshop includes presentations on scientific advancements, industry practices, and policy questions followed by group and panel discussions to examine the challenges and opportunities of natural hazard monitoring and mitigation that we expect for the next 5 to 10 years.
