GeoSIG is pleased to announce a competition that is open to scientists who have a research idea involving a seismometer and a data logger. To enter, just submit your research idea (by filling out the contest form on the GeoSIG website). All submissions will be reviewed and the winning idea will be selected based on its scientific merit, feasibility, and potential impact on the field. The winner of the competition will be awarded a brand new arolla weak-motion, broadband seismometer, and a nair recorder / digitiser to help them complete their research.
GeoSIG is accepting entries until midnight CET on Halloween (Oct. 31, 2023).
