Hi all,
We are seeking to appoint a research fellow position in Computational Seismology, to be held in the Department of Earth Sciences at UCL. The ERC-funded project UPFLOW will develop entirely new seismic imaging approaches along with new seismic data to constrain upward mantle flow.
The post is available for 36 months in the first instance and collaborations are envisaged with various institutions in Europe and with astrophysicists at UCL.
This post will focus on developing new seismic inversion methods at the global and regional scale, as well as on the design of optimal seismic observables to probe deep upward mantle flow.
